Tourmanium and Nano-diamond Tourmanium (NDT) are patented materials of Nugabest that were developed and produced at The NDT Research Center in collaboration with Fraunhofer, one of the world’s leading research institute on high-tech ceramic materials in Germany.

NDT and Tourmanium ceramics are the core elements of all Nugabest products, which boost the thermal effect of the products through anion electrification and far-infrared (FIR) emission.

Tourmanium ceramics are the alloy of Tourmaline, Germanium, Elvan and Volcanic breeds. These four elements are extracted then processed into microparticulates, followed by vacuum drying, powder screening, shaped, sintered at temperatures just higher than 1,300 ℃ with the most advanced technology, and finalised with enamel-free polishing.

When Tourmanium ceramics are heated electronically, they become a source of far-infrared rays while releasing negative ions (anions) and creating a low-frequency magnetic field. The health benefits that arise with the release of FIR and anions from Tourmanium are significant stimulation of blood flow, regeneration of cells in organs and tissues, improved metabolic rates, relieving muscular and nerve pain.
